One of North Dakota's nicknames is the "peace garden state." But don't that moniker fool you, they have pest problems just like everyone else. You might think that there would be less pests in North Dakota because of its higher latitude. You would be wrong. People in North Dakota have to deal with a number of pests that can destroy crops like the Japanese beetle, emerald ash borer, stinkbug, and spotted-wing drosophila. Additionally, there are the usual, rodents and flying insects like mosquitoes and wasps.
North Dakota is the least visited state in the United States. It consists of mostly farming communities and doesn't have a major tourist attraction.
