The "Buckeye" state is known for its industrial centers like Columbus and Cleveland in addition to its many farm fields. It borders one of the Great Lakes (Erie) to the north, the Appalachian Mountains to the east, the Ohio river to the south, and the beginning of the midwestern plains to the west. All of these geographical areas of this Midwestern state have their own pests for you to contend with.
When someone thinks of the Midwest, Ohio probably comes to mind. This extends to the state's animal population as well. There are the squirrels, mice, and moles galore on the rodent side of things. There is also a variety of common insect pests including stink bugs, mosquitoes, flies, wasps, ticks, and fleas. There are no pests in Ohio that are uncommon in the United States. Therefore, it is still extremely easy to enjoy the many arts, sport, and geographical wonders Ohio has to offer.
